Meet Bill Duby



Bill Duby is a current professional pitcher, former Division I right-handed pitcher, and the founder of Duby Baseball, a baseball training and coaching organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has dedicated his career to developing athletes and sharing his extensive baseball knowledge.
Professional Career
In 2025, Bill signed with the Oakland Ballers of the Pioneer League but was traded before the season to the Ottawa Titans of the Frontier League in exchange for two players. With Ottawa, he excelled in his first professional season, earning recognition as a Frontier League All-Star after posting a 2.81 ERA across 36 appearances—establishing himself as one of the league’s most reliable relief pitchers.

After high school, Bill continued his baseball career at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California, where he played for the Vikings. During the 2020–2021 season, he contributed to the team's pitching staff.
Bill then transferred to Western Kentucky University, competing as a right-handed pitcher for the Hilltoppers. He played for one season before transferring to Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, to continue his collegiate baseball career. There, he recorded a 0.00 ERA against ranked opponents, including the eventual College World Series Champions, Tennessee.
Education
In addition to his athletic pursuits, Bill is committed to academic excellence. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sports Administration at Belmont University. Prior to this, he earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Social and Behavioral Science and a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Western Kentucky University. He also holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Communications and General Education from Diablo Valley College.
Duby Baseball
After concluding his collegiate career, Bill founded Duby Baseball, a training and coaching organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The organization offers teams, camps, lessons, and athlete development programs, aiming to help baseball players of all ages and skill levels reach their full potential.
