Brandon Hatcher’s baseball journey started with a few years of recreational ball before he stepped into travel baseball, playing under Coach Bill Duby from ages 10 to 15. Those years built his skills, sharpened his discipline, and gave him experience competing against talented players.
Built Through Competition
Travel baseball taught Brandon how to handle pressure, work through adversity, and become a teammate others could count on. The game demanded preparation and effort—and helped him develop the mindset to keep competing when things got difficult.
Alhambra Baseball
Brandon continued his playing career at Alhambra High School, joining the varsity team near the end of his freshman year and competing through his senior season. High school baseball strengthened the fundamentals he had developed and created lasting memories with his teammates.
The Teammate Mindset
Baseball helped shape Brandon’s work ethic, leadership, competitiveness, and appreciation for teamwork. As Duby Baseball’s Vibes Coach, he brings that perspective back to the program: show up, support the people around you, and bring energy to the next rep.
